A venue coordinator is generally defined as someone is directly responsible for anything specifically related to the venue and their interests. Generally speaking, this means that they don’t help with setup from third party rentals or decor, they don’t help coordinate your vendors to ensure that things run smoothly, and they don’t manage your timeline. They will generally help show you or your vendors around the venue, ensure anything provided from the venue is setup, and make sure no damage is done to the venue by you, your guests, or your vendors.
A Wedding Planner is generally defined as someone who is there on the client’s behalf! They are generally there to help with setup from third party rentals and decor, they will help coordinate your vendors to ensure that things are running smoothly and everything is in place, they will manage your timeline. They will also act as a go in-between between you, your vendors, your family, your friends and the venue.
