Hello! My name is Rachel Beer, I am the lead planner and the owner of Birra Weddings and Events. I knew from an early age what my career path was going to be. I was the kid that planning their birthday party nine months in advance (and trying to stay on budget too!).
I just moved from Orlando, Florida to Houston, Texas. I am so excited to be back home! I have been working in the hospitality industry for over six years. I am certified through the Bridal Society as a Certified Wedding Planner for the past three years. I am also a part of The Bridal Society Annual Retreat Committee team! I strive to always continue my education through the industry so that I can stay on top of the newest trends when advising my couples.
When I am not planning your dream day, my favorite things to do are read, travel and play with my dog, Ellie!
Some of you may be wondering why I chose Birra as my company name. It’s simple really! For one thing, I think it sounds beautiful but also it has a deeper meaning. Birra is actually Italian for Beer (which hey, that’s me!) and I wanted something to honor my amazing family who have stood by me through the thick and the thin.
